Canadian Online Publication Group (COPG) is an international publisher ( Not-for-profit Corporations) established in Ottawa, Canada in 2017. At Canadian Online Publication Group, we are passionate to promote and disseminate knowledge by publishing fully open access journals. We believe that with the help of our highly qualified reviewers and academic editors, we are able to accomplish this task.

All accepted articles are permanently publicly available online without restrictions or subscription fees. COPG’s published articles are permitted to be used, copied, and distributed, on condition that appropriate acknowledgement is included. COPG articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Accepted articles will be published on a rolling basis and will be posted online immediately after appropriate proofreading and formatting. Publishing articles on a rolling basis has many advantages, such as assisting journals and publishers in meeting the requirement of short publication wait times desired by modern researchers. All published articles are assigned a DOI number (Digital Object Identifier).

Canadian Online Publication Group currently publishes one peer-reviewed open-access journal (Canadian Prosthetics & Orthotics Journal, ISSN 2561-987X) which is hosted by the University of Toronto Libraries. The scope of the journal includes prosthetics, orthotics, rehabilitation sciences, Mobility Assistive Technology (MAT), Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the prosthetics and orthotics field. CPOJ is indexed by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Scopus, Crossref, Scilit, Sherpa Romeo, and the Google Scholar. The full text of all published articles is deposited in ZENODO and Ontario Council of University Libraries Scholars Portal. Scholars Portal Journals is certified as a Trustworthy Digital Repository for long-term preservation.

At Canadian Online Publication Group we optimize articles for search engines to improve your research visibility. The number of citations a paper receives helps determine the impact of your research. By optimizing your articles, you guarantee that your articles are indexed and generally gain a higher rank in academic search engines such as Google Scholar. The closer your paper is to the number one search result, the more likely it will be read and cited. For advertising your research works please contact us:  Email: info@online-publication.com

Special Issue: Health Economics in Prosthetics & Orthotics

This Special Edition takes a snapshot of stakeholder perspectives and opinions on the topic of Health Economics in Prosthetics & Orthotics (P&O), which is a topic that is underserved in the literature but is integral to the vitality, health and sustainability of the sector. The edition provides an interdisciplinary platform for the voices of four stakeholder groups to be heard: End-users, Researchers (Engineering and Clinical), P&O Practitioners and one Insurer. The diversity of perspectives presented paints a unique, multi-dimensional image of the sector. Central to the presentation of the perspectives are four papers describing an interdisciplinary project on the Health Economics of Osseointegration that was led by a Payor, a first of its kind. The complex, interdisciplinary influenced economic and business fundamentals are increasingly relevant as Industry 4.0 accelerates innovation and knowledge creation across the engineering to clinical application spectrum. Irrespective of where you sit on that spectrum, what you do or what you are working on must eventually meet a) customer needs in a cost-effective manner and/or b) policy needs at the insurer or government level. The success and future of the sector requires a clear understanding of how it ticks economically. This in turn requires that the existing knowledge gap must be closed. Because of the relative lack of publicly available, peer-reviewed knowledge on this topic, each author has been asked to provid a “Call to Action” in which they identify one or more key areas that need to be addressed in order to either build on the opportunities or to break down the barriers they have identified in their paper. The intent of this Special Edition is to generate discussion and encourage more in-depth research on this topic. Views and opinions expressed are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of the Editors or Editorial team members.
